SN/MAC Validation Rule

The administrator needs to input the SN number and MAC address of the device to be registered in advance so that users can register the device.

• Register
  The administrator enters the SN and MAC address of the device into the platform in advance . When a customer adds a device, the SN and MAC address of the device are verified to ensure accurate steering of the device.

1. Administrator->SN/MAC validation rule->Register.
2. Fill in the device’s SN number, MAC address and other information.
   

The following table shows the parameter description:

• Unregister
  For rules that have been successfully registered, you can perform the unregister operation. ( This operation is dangerous and the browser will pop up to confirm)
  
  Click multiple check boxes or the check boxes in the title bar to perform batch operations. Up to 10 pieces of information can be unregisterd.
• Edit
  For rules that have been successfully registered, you can edit the SN/MAC validation rules of the same unit type again. Including information such as unit type, SN prefix, SN initial numer,MAC, MAC rule , quantity of devices, order time, etc.
  
• Show Clients
  Administrators can view the SN/MAC verification registration information of all devices of the same unit type, and can edit and delete single device.
  
• Search
  For the registered rules, you can query the rules based on unit type, MAC, SN, order time, update time, and other information. This operation supports fuzzy search.
  
  You can click the reset button to clear the search bar.
  
• Enable SN/MAC rule
  You need to click Enable SN/MAC rule, otherwise the registered rules will not take effect and will affect registration of device.
